Emu Park Beach
Emu Park  WW1 memorial.  A quite magnificent area built with money raised locally and the local council were responsible for its construction.

Although we have stayed in Rockhampton on a previous trip we did not visit Emu Park out on the coast.  A mistake!  Beautiful place, stunning beaches and island views forever.  Friends Pete and Pam stay there frequently so we were able to catch up with them during our few days before taking off for Cairns,.
