The panorama of the waterfront at Bowen where we stopped and bought a Pizza from Dominos for lunch
Sugar train
We made a quick one night stop of a couple of parks having decided to head up to Cairns.  This was the second stop just south east of Ayr called Groper Point full of keen fishermen and their boats.
Two photos of the famed Bruce Highway.  The one above I took because it was about the best stretch of the highway we had come across for many a long tortuous mile.  Apart from only ever being one lane each way, the road surface is nothing short of appalling.  The photo of the bridge is because we had such a surprise to suddenly come across something so well done!!!  Needless to say we will be avoiding the Bruce on our way back by going out into the countryside.
The beautiful town of Cardwell. It is nothing short of breathtaking. We never stay overnight because it always seems we are on our way somewhere else at the time but we never fail to stop to admire its scenery.
We are trying a new caravan park in Cairns. It seems very pleasant and has some of the best amenities we have ever come across.
