Having decided we were all "flowered out" we made our way slowly (getting colder!) down the coast and set up in a tiny place called Green Head which also had a National Park full of flowers.  Amazing time of the year. We used Green Head as a base for visiting Jurien Bay and Cervantes, little towns on the coast towards Perth, and finally The famous Pinnacles.  Fascinating pointy rocks in just this one area.
David has made a separate page for wild flowers and, just like the bird page, if you would like to see a particular flower enlarged, just click on it.  He has also named a lot of them.  On the left is a Kangaroo Paw.
Jurien Bay. Very pretty town.
Cervantes beach.  Recent storms have really upset the beaches and they are all covered in sea weed .
Totally fascinating. No one really knows what caused this phenomenon but they sit in a total desert surrounded by the usual WA shrubs.  Very odd.
