Mundubbera thrives as it has a huge fruit and vegetable industry.  This farm is purely blueberries and these nets go for absolutely miles.  It was disappointing that it is all very much industry driven and there are no sales outlets except for one veggie point.
A passing employee noticed our interest and took pleasure in telling us all about the various companies.  Next door to the blueberries were the above mandarin trees all of which are about to the dug up and trashed as they are not profitable.  What a waste!  (at his invitation we did help ourselves to a few straight off the trees!)
Lo and behold we found another dam! So we stayed there for one night.  We have a superb outlook right over the dam.
It was a pretty large acreage and so we explored once again by bike.  Had a giggle at the Australian love of signs!
We turned into Lake Boondooma (right) to see what it was like and found that the caravan park had power and plenty of space. We checked in for the night and found that it was a very long walk to the toilet block. It rained quite heavily for an hour at about 6pm and everything was still wet in the morning. Next morning a fog covered the dam and the whole valley as we set off for Murgon (below) which was our original destination.  Stopped for tea at Ficks crossing on our way to Nanango.
