David took a tape measure and found 12 bricks measured 1278mm. By calculating he estimates that there are more than 3million bricks in the nearly 18km of tracks along the Hervey Bay waterfront alone (There are other walking/bike tracks from the beach all the way to new suburbs in the west.)
Above is our favourite house in the area except that I would not like to have to clean it as it is extremely large!
This little boat goes out every day and they catch a fair amount of fish.  However, it looks a bit precarious to us!  Mind you the Bay is just like a pond!  Very calm.
View from the caravan windows.  The tide goes out for at least a kilometre.
Old friends from our 2013 trip, Helen and Graeme.   They are 'camped' the other side of Bundaberg and came down to visit for the day.  Lovely lunch at the local golf club.
At dusk every night people (us included) gather to watch the sunset but this night the lorikeets were especially noisy and stole the show!
We are using our bikes a fair bit as the bike paths are magnificent.
