Across the new bridge and Good-bye to Wales
David had just finished a book that Dennis had lent him about the life and achievements of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We went to Paddington station on the way to London where his outstanding example of station design still remain. He is most famous for designing Bridges and the Great Western Railway from London to Bristol.
We visited the London Museum which traces the history and development of the great city. After the museum we walked around the London Wall, relics of the Roman wall and subsequent additions.  Great views of St.Pauls Cathedral from all angles. We are always surprised about the sheer size of St.Pauls.

No visit to London should miss a stroll along the Embankment.
