This page is devoted to a magnificent museum just down the road from Atherton (story below)  It needs a complete day to see around the 70 buildings which are arranged in the form of a town.  Above is always my favourite item in the countryside and that is the historic family homestead.  This one is beautiful with each room beautifully laid out as it would have been "back in the day".
Children were encouraged to play an instrument so that the family could entertain each other in the evenings.
An entire building devoted to the history of printing, all beautifully kept.
The Chemist's shop full of all sorts of things we remembered from our childhood.
David says his family had this model 1937 Chev car which his father inherited from his grandfather.
